There is the importance of identifying myself as an author and my book as a brand.

The two keys to successful brand recognition are finding target audience and presenting a consistent identity to that audience across all your design, to website design to incorporating brand elements into your social media profiles.


Having a strong and consistent brand identity is key to an author’s success, just like blogging is a natural outlet for writers. Not only can it help you build an author platform, but it can help you horn your skills as a writer, CEO and media expert.


Constant blogging will build your readership tube and create loyal readers, even though it can be a time intensive activity. Good publicity can be garnered through book signings, TV interviews and book reviews.


Most importantly blogging can establish your identity as a writer in three ways:

  1. By raising awareness of your work, and

  2. By raising awareness of yourself
