CHECKLIST PARAMETERS FOR NAILING ANY INTERVIEW!

Don’t be late – show up some minutes early.
Do your homework – know the company and role, ask you questions such as “why do you want to work here”.
Know your business – Research salaries at the company.
Be more than ready – come prepared with three copies of resume, note pad and a pen.
Be Alerted – Dress appropriately.
Remember everyone matters – the receptionist is just as important as the head of the team.
Make your mark – a firm handshake, make eye contact and smile.
Show your true colour – Calm yourself and power pose.
Show off your work – have a few examples of your projects. Show project management, teamwork, taking initiatives and adaptability by explaining your role in these projects.
Be one step ahead – know when an interviewer is asking a behavioural or competency question.
Wrap up nicely – follow up with a thank you note.
Have self-assurance – Avoid phrases like “ I would and normally”
Be curious – Ask everyone or the interview team questions.
Plan for the upcoming – As you are thanking everyone for their time, ask about their timeline for making a decision.
