CULTURAL DIVERSITY!

To encourage and support cultural diversity, it is important to review written policies, procedures, standards and rules that govern how people are expected to work together and achieve required standards in support of a greater acceptance of cultural diversity and tolerance of difference. In light of what research have stated and personally given my background in HR, understanding cultures in order to improve my knowledge and develop respect for the different ways in which people choose to think and act has helped me to be more aware. I can say that the benefit expands ones network of colleagues, mentors, friends and professional contacts, even though this is not achieved by chance, but through best use of psychological techniques. There is a saying "surviving and fitting in implies that one to find a happy medium between their individual characteristics and the dynamics of a group".
